E.O.C. Radio Operator Certification

Currently certification in two courses with certificates on file are required for personnel to operate the radio station at the E.O.C. during a declared emergency.

The two Emergency Management Institute certificates and courses are available for free online using the Independent Study Program.

The first course is IS-100.B.    The Introduction to Emergency Communications may be found online at:

The second course, is IS-700.ANational Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction  found online at:
